Dramedy Productions is an independent film and TV production company based in Prague. Dramedy works with major both commercial (Nova/CME group) and public (Czech TV) broadcasters in the Czech Republic. Vyprávěj (Wonderful Times), family-retro series created by Dramedy, became a local hit awarded Series Of The Year several times in a row and the Golden Nymph at the Monte Carlo TV Festival. První Republika (The Manor House), series produced in co-production with Czech TV (2013-2018), is a period family saga set in Prague of the 1920’s. The series (sales by Imagina Int.) achieved great success, airing in China, USA, Poland, Hungary, Latin America and other countries. Dramedy co-produced Maltese-Il Romanzo Del Commissario (Palomar, ZDF Enterprises, Dramedy, 2016) written by Leonardo Fasoli and Maddalena Ravagli (Gomorrah) and provided production service for Italian-Spanish series Love, Inevitably aka Lontano da te (Cross Productions, Telecinco, Mediaset, Beta Film, 2019) among others. Dramedy has been granted Creative Europe-Media finance for its slate of international TV series now in development.
